An underrated and underappreciated scene in Thor Ragnarok is Thor pouring his heart out, telling Loki he cried and mourned his death, and Loki just giving him a look that so clearly says why are you this way and actually saying “I’m…touched?” in a tone that is just peak shit little brother.

i just want everyone to acknowledge how fucking great it would be if loki gave up the tesseract for thor, then thanos throws thor out into space (to be picked up by the gotg) and loki thinks thor is dead and thor thinks loki is dead

and thor spends the entire time with the guardians talking about how cool his brother is, how much he loves and misses him, etc etc and he wants revenge and works with the gotg to make that happen (specifically nebula and gamora they deserve to kill thanos fuck you mcu)

meanwhile on earth, the avengers have picked up some weird chick who’s scared to death of thanos, but wont stop babbling about how thanos killed her brother, she has nothing left but she needs to avenge him and no one really knows anything about her but oh well she’s being helpful so even though she disappears sometimes (cause fluidity yay) she’s kinda cool

and then like ¾ of the way through the film the gotg and the avengers meet up and the weird blond guy the gotg picked up and the black haired chick the avengers found just shriek and run to each other and just keep babbling i thought you were dead you’re not dead i’m not dead we’re not dead

and thats when the avengers realize “that was fucking loki” but it doesnt matter bc thor has his sister back and anyways marvel snipers are taking me out right now for leaking this totally canon infinity war plot

I always see talk about Loki forever being Done with Thor’s behaviour while growing up but I can almost guarantee you that, as kids, one of them held the title for the record number of times saying ‘go the fuck to sleep, brother’ in one century and it wasn’t Loki
